Classwork: Today we entered the Stock Market game.  Kids were given codes and $200,000 to buy stocks with one other person and use Yahoo Finance. 

Homework: please talk to your parents about the Stock Market.  Get some good tips on what to buy!

Classwork: Students have been studying the importance of analysing Primary Source documents in history.  We have studied the Conquest of the Incas by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro and compared it with the Conquest of the Aztecs by Hernando Cortes.  

We have studied the textbook account for both Conquistadors.  

Homework: Please discuss the conquest of the Aztecs with your parents.
