Classwork: Mapping Challenges 3 and possibly 4.  What is a Thematic Map?  Which Thematic Map do you need to accomplish certain questions?

Homework: Describe the various thematic maps we have in class.

Classwork: Work on Mapping challenges 1and 2.  Emphasis is on latitude longitude skills and understanding physical features in Latin America and political boundaries. 

Homework: Discuss with your parents at least three physical features and countries in Latin America

Classwork:  We finished the last part of The Great Lakes.  We discussed Global Connections and how the shortage of water will affect the world.

Homework:  Discuss the danger of water shortages with your parents.
