Classwork:  Students used 6 thematic maps 1. landforms 2. climate 3. vegetation 4. economic activity 5. population density 6. region

They choose a country of their choice and find out some basic facts from the six thematic maps and then apply the facts into poetry.

Homework:  Discuss your country with your parent

Objective:  "I will be able to DEFINE the vocab word REGION by reading pages 38-39, asking questions, and building a regions Map."

Classwork:  Finishing up understanding of Economic activities, finishing the chapter by reading and discussing about REGIONS. 

Homework:  Think about the areas near you that would be a REGION.  Do you live in a certain neighborhood?  Are you near a shopping center?
